Fun Ways to Use Printable Play Money:

1. Let’s Go Shopping - Set up a pretend grocery store where children can shop. Use empty food containers with prices and set up a table with a toy cash register. The kids can shop for food items and purchase them at the register.
   
2. Play Restaurant - The kids will love to set up a play restaurant where they can make menus with food items and prices. Let the kids can take turns being the customer or waiter and have them pay for their meal with the printable toy money.
3. Going to the Bank - Create a kid's bank play money set so your children can pretend to play bank. Children can take turns with different job roles such as customer and teller to learn how to count money and have fun. You can also give them an old wallet to store it in.
   
4. Earn for Chores - Use the printable money sheets as printable chore bucks to go with a chore chart. This is a fun way for your kids to earn money when they complete a chore. • Scissors

How to Make Play Money:

Step 1: Print & Cut

Download the printable play money PDF and print on 8.5 x 11" white cardstock (I use Neenah 65# Bright White). Use scissors or an paper trimmer to cut along the edges (if laminating, wait to cut out).

Step 2: Laminate (Optional)

To make the play money last longer, laminate before cutting. I use this cheap laminator from Scotch & it works great!

Step 3: Play

Your kid's play money is ready to use! Use the printable money for learning, in pretend play or as replaceable monopoly money. You can store the play money in a plastic pencil box, ziploc bag, or envelope.
